Ranger This park has a wonderful visitor center. Do not leave without a good look at the meuseum, because the Indian mounds are really only half of the attraction here!

picnic There are benches and lots of shade to enjoy - just look out for the snakes! There are no tables, but it's still a great spot to stop and eat.

At the top of one of the Indian mounds.

Trails There is only one main trail to follow here, and I doubt you could get lost on it! This is a great walk for all ages, just keep the kids from taking the stairs up the mounds too quickly.

water There is a drinking fountain located at the visitor center.

You will see signs of the Native American presence everywhere here, but the artifacts to be seen in the visitor center are just great. Be sure to check out the carved figures - you can't miss 'em!.

We were rather amused to see a great view of the local nuclear reactors from the top of the mound.
This place is a bit of a challenge to find - but it's worth the effort. Just keep following the endless markers to the park.
